“SUMMER” IS HERE – IT’S HOT! Marguerite
Pate Reeves, mother of our
classmate Jeannie Reeves McCurry, passed away
last Saturday, July 3. She suffered a
stroke a few years ago and had been bedridden. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jeannie,
her father David and their family and friends. Update _____________________________________________________ Update Donald
Thomaston is recuperating and getting stronger every day. Medication for his low blood
pressure is working and as soon as he is strong enough he will undergo gall
bladder surgery. He also will have an
MRI to determine spots on adrenal gland.
He continues his uphill battle, but the good news is that he is better. Update Billy von
Eberstein, brother of Nancy von Eberstein Lee, has returned home after
spending several weeks in the Mayo Clinic.
He has gained
weight (up to 140# now), is getting stronger, and expects
to be good as new. August 15.
2010 We have lost
3 classmates this week. Jim Mitchell,
Woodrow Fillingim and Jim Coats. All 3 died
suddenly of complications from surgery.
